Calacatta Viola is quarried from a single deposit in the Apuan Alps. The stone is warm cream with deep purple-violet veining — colour that comes from manganese oxide left during the stone's formation millions of years ago. There isn't much of it. That's not marketing.

The UMBRA Side Table carries this stone on a compact circular form: a solid turned White Oak drum base, pale and natural, presenting the slab without competing with it. At 45 cm across and 50 cm tall, it sits beside a chair or at a sofa arm — the architectural accent that makes everything else in the room feel considered.
