SOLACE

Three columns. Two in wood. One in stone. A side table that is itself a sculpture.

SOLACE was built around a design logic that has nothing to do with convention: three cylindrical columns — two in deep bordeaux-stained White Oak, one turned from solid Calacatta Violet marble — support a circular stained oak top. The marble column is not decoration. It is structure. Load-bearing, visible at every angle, carrying the same deep bordeaux-burgundy and cream-white veining as its own tabletop surface.

Calacatta Violet is quarried with limited output. The bold colour, broad veining arcs, and deep mineral saturation make it one of the most recognisable stones in the collection. On SOLACE, it does double duty — top and leg. The effect is of a piece grown from stone upward rather than placed on it.

Care
Wipe stone column and top with a soft damp cloth. No acidic cleaners. Seal stone surfaces annually.
